La galería Puro en La Paz, fue el escenario de la muestra de obras Gastón Ugalde y Fernando Montes, quienes reflejaron el latente sentir de las consecuencias y sentimientos emergentes tras la pandemia, un tema que aún da motivos para pensar, explorar y sentir.
La exposición estuvo disponible durante 2 semana, finalizando el 24 de junio, 2 muros vistos frente afrente fueron en su integridad los lienzos para cada uno de los artistas, quieres dibujaron a su estilo propio una multitud de personas, siluetas que podían fácilmente entenderse como un grupo de gente en pena, sombras o fantasmas. En un contraste que sumergen hacia el mismo sentido.
Al fondo reposaban 3 camillas en la pared, son el soporte para otros dibujos que entre blancos y negros denotan figuras humanas, rostros, cuerpos, textos, con fuerza y desvanecimientos que reflejan aquellos instantes duros que fueron vividos durante la pandemia y hasta ahora marcan nuestras vidas y recuerdos.
En medio posa en el suelo una figura humana, negra, tosca, dura, cuadrada y sobre ella cuelgan bolsas transparentes cargadas de agua, que contienen retratos, rostros en diferentes perspectivas. Difíciles de observar lejanamente pero una vez descubiertos invitaban a dar un paseo por cada bolsita colgante buscando su contenido. Algo efímero como el espíritu, translúcido pero existente, presente y sentido.
Los artistas contrastaron sus estilos y crearon un espacio lleno de sentimientos que se cree que se fueron junto a la pandemia pero frente a ese espacio nos damos cuenta que fue y será parte de nuestras vidas.

The exhibition was available for 2 weeks, ending on June 24. 2 walls facing each other were the canvases for each of the artists, you wanted to draw a multitude of people in their own style, silhouettes that could easily be understood as a group of people in pain, shadows or ghosts. In a contrast that submerges towards the same sense.
In the background, 3 stretchers rested on the wall, they were the support for other black and White drawings that denote human figures, faces, bodies, texts, with force and fades that reflect those hard moments that were experienced during the pandemic and until now mark our lives and memories.
In the middle, a, black, rough, hard, square human figure poses on the ground and on it hangs some transparent bags loaded with water, containing portraits, faces in different perspectives, al lof them difficult be seen from a distance, but once discovered, they invite you to take a walk through each hanging bag looking for its content. Something ephemeral like the spirit, translucent but existing, present and felt.
The artists contrasted their styles and created a space full of feelings that are believed to have disappeared with the pandemic, but when faced with that space we realize that it was and will be part of our lives.
