Brígida Vidangos es diseñadora de moda con una línea de identidad cultural, usando el aguayo como material principal.
Realizó sus estudios en la Academia Teniente el año 1996 – 1997, se especializó en sastrería femenina y a sus diseños les brinda un toque cultural utilizando el aguayo como materia principal, tanto en prendas de vestir y accesorios, como carteras, pulseras, sombreros entre otros.
Desde el año 2020 entro a utilizar la técnica de la deconstrucción de prendas y upcycling reutilizando materiales como paños, lanillas, casimires y otros, para crear sus nuevas colecciones, entrando en el concepto de Slow Fashion o moda lenta, diseñando colecciones de prendas y accesorios más atemporales, con siluetas de tallas abiertas, cómodas y siguiendo con la utilización del Aguayo cómo material principal.
Brígida es la fundadora de la Asociación Paceña de Diseñadores de Moda, actualmente está a cargo del evento La Paz diseña, un espacio dedicado a encontrar nuevos talentos, donde surgen nuevas iniciativas de moda para diseñadoras y diseñadores de la ciudad de La Paz, mediante el cuál se pretende crear moda Paceña, este evento se realizó recientemente con una pequeña muestra, una presentación de pasarela a puertas de la sub alcaldía de la zona Sur.
La diseñadora lleva en el rubro alrededor de 10 años, sus diseños están disponibles en la tienda Tambo Diseño de Autor dentro de Manq´a de Sopocachi (Plaza Abaroa).
Brígida Vidangos is a fashion designer with a cultural identity line, using aguayo as the main material for her work.
She studied at the Teniente Academy in 1996 – 1997, she specialized in women’s tailoring and gives her designs a cultural touch using aguayo as the main material in her work, both in clothing and accessories, such as handbags, bracelets, hats, among others.
Since 2020, she began to use the technique of garment deconstruction and upcycling, reusing materials such as cloth, wool, cashmere and others, to create her new collection, introducing the concept of Slow Fashion, designing collections of clothing and accessories with a timeless concept, with silhouettes of open sizes, very comfortable and the use of Aguayo as the main material remains.
Brígida is the founder of the Fashion Designers Association of La Paz, she is currently in charge of La Paz designs events, a space dedicated to finding new talents, where new fashion initiatives arise for designers in La Paz city, through this activity she created Paceña fashion, this event was recently held with a small sample, a runway presentation at the gates of the Sub-Mayor’s office in the South zone.
The designer has been in the field for around 10 years, her designs are available at the Tambo Diseño de Autor store inside Manq’a in Sopocachi (Plaza Abaroa).
