Nuestra expresión creativa nos ayuda siempre a definirnos a nosotros mismos y ver el mundo a través de los ojos de los demás.
Además de su valor intrínseco, la cultura proporciona valiosos beneficios sociales y económicos. Participar en la cultura puede tener efectos beneficiosos para las personas de varias maneras, ya que representa una fuente de placer y asombro, un medio para expresar la creatividad, forjar la propia identidad y fortalecer o preservar el sentido de pertenencia a la comunidad.
Las experiencias culturales brindan oportunidades de recreación, entretenimiento, aprendizaje y compartir experiencias con otros. Desde museos hasta teatros y desde salones de baile hasta bibliotecas públicas, la cultura siempre nos unirá.
En este contexto, tengo el placer, en mi calidad de Embajador de Egipto en el territorio Boliviano, de anunciar que la Embajada realizará dos eventos culturales este año en el Teatro Municipal Alberto Saavedra Pérez.
Estos eventos de alto impacto cultural se llevarán a cabo con el propósito de difundir la cultura Árabe y fortalecer vínculos entre ambos países Egipto y Bolivia, en coordinación con el Gobierno Autónomo Municipal de La Paz (GAMLP), a través de la Secretaría Municipal de Culturas y Turismo (SMCT), y también la Academia de Danza “Andalucía”.
El primer evento “Las mil y una noches” será presentado el 6 y 7 de Julio del 2024, seguido por la celebración de nuestro Día Nacional el 8 de Julio.
El segundo evento cultural “Cleopatra” se realizará el 1 y 2 de diciembre del 2024, con la presencia de Mohamed Ghareb el bailarín de Tanura, el cual llegara por primera vez a Bolivia para presentar este baile típico nunca antes visto en el país.
“LAS MIL Y UNA NOCHES”
Un clásico de la literatura hecha danza e interpretada por el elenco de Andalucía Dance Academy, más de 60 artistas en escena y un gran despliegue de escenografía, vestuario y utilería. Llena de fabulosas historias que han trascendido en el tiempo por su encanto, magia y fantasía, Scheherazade, Shahriar, Zimbad, son algunos nombres que nos traerán recuerdos. El estreno de esta magnífica producción se llevará a cabo el sábado 6 y domingo 7 de julio en el Teatro Municipal “Alberto Saavedra Pérez” a hrs. 18:00.
En esta oportunidad, contaremos con la presencia espectacular del músico árabe Nicolas Kirlis, que llega desde la Argentina para interpretar hermosas melodías árabes.
Contaremos con la presencia de la Bailarina Aérea Ingrid Cárdenas y todo el elenco estable y bailarines solistas de la Arabian Dance Company “Amira Isai”.
“CLEOPATRA”
Y para cerrar el año con mucho arte presentaremos la obra “Cleopatra” la última faraona gobernante de Egipto, protagonista de una historia de amor entre su prometido Julio César, su amante Marco Antonio y quien no cede a sus encantos Octavio, para los cuales utilizó la misma arma, la seducción.
La puesta en escena se llevará a cabo el día domingo 1 y lunes 2 de diciembre en el Teatro Municipal Alberto Saavedra Pérez con la participación del elenco estable de bailarinas de la Escuela de Danza “Andalucía”, la espectacular participación de Mohamed Ghareb que llega desde Egipto para deleitarnos con su arte en la danza.
El Señor Rodney Miranda, Secretario Municipal de Culturas y Turismo de la Honorable Alcaldía Municipal de La Paz, destacó que en julio, tendremos la oportunidad de conocer la cultura árabe con una emocionante magia de arte presentada en colaboración con la embajada de Egipto. Esta producción promete una inolvidable experiencia al público que nos permitirá conocer tradiciones y la historia de esta región del mundo. Desde la Secretaría Municipal de Culturas y Turismo del Gobierno Autónomo de La Paz, estamos contentos de aportar el intercambio cultural.
Así mismo, los eventos serán precedidos de conferencias de prensa para su presentación, y en el intermedio de los actos se realizarán sorteos con fabulosos premios. Vengan con sus familias a disfrutar de estas noches extraordinarias de cultura Árabe, y sumérjanse con nosotros en la magia de los cuentos y la historia antigua de Egipto.

Culture as a tool to reinforce relationships between people

Culture, a vital element of a dynamic society, is expressed in the way we tell our stories, celebrate, remember the past, entertain ourselves and imagine the future. Our creative expression always helps us define ourselves and see the world through the eyes of others.
In addition to its intrinsic value, culture provides valuable social and economic benefits. Participating in culture can have beneficial effects for people in several ways, as it represents a source of pleasure and wonder, a means to express creativity, forge one’s identity, and strengthen or preserve a sense of belonging to the community.
Cultural experiences provide opportunities for recreation, entertainment, learning, and sharing experiences with others. From museums to theaters and from ballrooms to public libraries, culture will always unite us.
In this context, I have the pleasure, as Ambassador of Egypt in Bolivian territory, to announce that the Embassy will hold two cultural events this year at the Alberto Saavedra Pérez Municipal Theater.
These events of high cultural impact will be carried out with the purpose of disseminating Arabic culture and strengthening ties between both countries Egypt and Bolivia, in coordination with the Autonomous Municipal Government of La Paz (GAMLP), through the Municipal Secretariat of Cultures and Tourism (SMCT), and also the “Andalucía” Dance Academy.

Full of fabulous stories that have transcended time for their charm, magic and fantasy, Scheherazade, Shahriar, Zimbad, are some names that will bring back memories. The premiere of this magnificent production will take place on Saturday, July 6 and Sunday, July 7 at the “Alberto Saavedra Pérez” Municipal Theater at hrs. 18:00.
On this occasion, we will have the spectacular presence of the Arab musician Nicolas Kirlis, who comes from Argentina to perform beautiful Arabic melodies.
We will have the presence of the Aerial Dancer Ingrid Cárdenas and the entire stable cast and solo dancers of the Arabian Dance Company “Amira Isai”.

And to close the year with a lot of art we will present the work “Cleopatra”, the last ruling pharaoh of Egypt, protagonist of a love story between her fiancé Julius Caesar, her lover Mark Antony and who does not give in to her charms Octavio, for which she used the same weapon, seduction.
